LYNN.--Jacob B. Wampler, 96 years old, a retired route salesman for household products, died Saturday night. He was a resident of Bloomingport.
Survivors include a son, Lewis of Dayton, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Coburn of Anderson, Miss Bell Wampler and Mrs. Hazel Ruble, both of near Lynn, Mrs. Pearl Willis of Farmland and Mrs. Docia Abernathy of Modoc; a sister, Mrs. Kate Tucker of Hamilton, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Esther McClintock of Muncie; two stepsons, Ray Alexander of Muncie and Guy Alexander of Richmond; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Wampler will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bloomingport Friends Church. Rev. Zelma Mills and Rev. Ancil Brubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Daleville. Friends may call at the Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn.
