Marilyn R. Pool, age 73, of Alexandria, passed away on March 3, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. Marilyn was born on December 30, 1939, to Oris and Norma (Hamm) Kleyla in Alexandria, IN. Marilyn married Robert Pool on Apr. 27, 1957 he survives. Marilyn had worked at several businesses including General Dynamics in San Diego, Paragon Services, and Indiana Beer & Wine both of Anderson. She was a member of Eastern Star and Alexandria First Baptist Church.
She is survived by:

Daughter - Angela & (Carl) Baldwin of Anderson
Grandchildren- Antwanette Holmes, Robert & (Mandy) French, Sylias Haggard & (fiancée Megan Kalin), and Abigail Pool
Great Grandchildren- Zhane Holmes, Andre Holmes, Brianna French, Sarah French, and Alyssa Haggard
Brothers- John & (Janice) Kleyla and Ricky Kleyla both of Elwood
Sisters- Vicky Blackford and June & (Jim) Spaulding both of Elwood

She was preceded in death by- children Cheryl Pool, Nathan Pool, Robert Pool, Jr., parents, brother Kent Kleyla, and sister Cheryl Kleyla.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 05, 2013, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Deutsch officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at the K of P & I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
