Services Set for John Bell
COULEE DAM, Wash. – Funeral services for John A. Bell, 84, will be tomorrow at 10 am at the Barnes Chapel. Mr. Bell died suddenly Friday afternoon while visiting in Elmer City, Wash. Burial will be in the Creston Cemetery.
Born Feb. 26, 1888, at Seven Miles Ford, Va,. He came to the Creston area in 1904, where his family ranched for many years. In 1920 he married Mammie Viers in North Carolina. They ranched in Creston until 1948 when they moved to Nespelem, Wash,. Where he owned and operated a ranch retiring in 1964. At the time of his death he was living with his son, John D. bell in Spokane.
In addition to his son, he is survived by another son, Bryce E., Minneapolis; three brothers, George, Creston, Irving, Pasco, Wash,. And Rush, Elma, Wash,. And one grandson.
