Ronald married Marilyn Miller and they had two children; Roxine and Robert. After being divorced in the early 1970's, Ronald then married Ruth Harris in 1973. They had one child; Jesse.

Ron was born February 13, 1932 in Wayland, a son of Robert W. and Thelma (Kline) Allen and stepfather Oakley Robinson. He married Ruth Harris on October 5, 1973 in Hopewell. She survives.
Ron was a former employee at the Hemlock Water Treatment Plant in Hemlock, retiring in 1989. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Allen in 1999; a daughter, Roxine Hill in 2000; a brother, Richard Allen in 2002 and a stepbrother, Skip Robinson in 1975.
Ron was a life member of the Springwater Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruth; one son, Jesse Allen of Fairport; two stepdaughters, Angela (Carl) Hall of Dansville and Robin Harris of Springwater, a son-in-law, Jerry Hill of Mt. Morris; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Mary) Robinson of Springwater; one sister-in-law, Sylvia Allen of Springwater, one aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
