He was US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Larry was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving is his mother, Thelma Overcash and 2 sisters, Brenda Scearce of Asheboro and Joan Eanes, of Axton, VA.
Funeral services were held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, Eden, NC. Burial followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
