"The death of Mrs. Laura M. Eppes, wife of Mr. George F. Eppes, occurred Saturday morning at 8:35 o'clock at her residence, No. 519 North First Street, after an illness of two months or more. She is survived by her husband and three children as follows: Mrs. George Pittman, of Washington; Miss Lee M. Eppes, and Mr. Henry J. Eppes. The funeral took place from the residence at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the interment being made in Shockoe Hill Cemetery."
She is buried next to her husband and near their children in the plot co-owned by her brother Henry.
