E. Carl Leatherman, 90, of Taylors passed away on April 30, 2012. Born in Leatherman, NC, he was the son of the late Isaac Dock and Mattie Mae Buchannan Leatherman. He served in the US Marines during WWII and was a builder. He is survived by his wife: Betty R. Leatherman; a daughter and son-in-law: Brenda Kara and David Steward of Taylors; a granddaughter: Deborah Elizabeth Morgan and her husband Shane; a brother: Roger Leatherman of London, KY and a sister: Frankie Fagan of Battle Creek, MI. Funeral service will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Lee Road Baptist Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
