Mrs. Martha B Franson
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha (Blacker) Franson of 311 E. Market St., Clearfield, who died in her home yesterday at 7:45 a.m. will be held from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home, Clearfield, Friday at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Frank Montgomery Will officiate and interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the funeral home after 7 p.m. today, tomorrow afternoon and evening and until the hour of services Friday.
Mrs. Franson was born at Shenandoah, Pa. on June 1, 1881, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Challenger) Blacker.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, the Clearfield American Legion Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Betty Evans, and a son, Charles A. Franson Jr., both of Clearfield, six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Russell (Emma) Shaw, Clearfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Franson Sr., in November 1954 and a daughter, Mrs. Don Quigley, last Aug. 18.
