Sam Rice was a minister in the Pentecostal Church, preaching and bringing the Word of God in churches in Texas and Louisiana. He was kind and loving to all. He was one of the eleven children of Samuel Adolphus Abercrombie and Mary Tommy Kirby. He sister, Maude Rice was the second husband of his father-in-law, John Thomas Abercrombie, as well as a second cousin to him. Sam and Maggie married 31 Aug 1916 in Polk County, Texas. They were loved by all.
