Services For Local Womans' Mother To Be Thursday
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ada Charlton will be held at 10 a. m.
Thursday from the Pitcher Funeral chapel, with Rev. A.B.Grubb,
Methodist minister, officiating.
burial will be at Ada, Okla.
Mrs. Charlton had been in ill health for several years and passed
away Monday night at Weatherford. She had lived in Carnegie at different times and had been here for about 18 months when she went to Weatherford to live, She had been in Weatherford about five months. She spent a great deal of time here with her daughter
and husband, Mr. and Mrs. E.L.Lucas.
Ada French born in 1871 at Wingo, Ky and was married to J.W.
Charlton at Wingo, when she was 20 years of age. She and her her
husband cam to Ada in 1905. Mr Charlton proceded her in death in
1925.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs, Lucas of Carnegie and Mrs. A.T. Coggan of Wichita; a sister, Mrs. Jim Blackburn of Watonga; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
