Born Aug. 4, 1930 in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Claude and Martha Elizabeth Million Cosby.
He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired as a truck driver for Florida Tile Industries in Lawrenceburg, was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #125, a former member of the Oleika Shrine Temple and was a member of Mayo Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Martha Lynn Cosby of Salvisa; one son, Steve (Terry) Cosby of Bowling Green; one brother, Donald (Sarah) Cosby of Louisville; one sister, Ruby Spaulding of Shelbyville, and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Annelle Thompson and Hazel Hiack.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Jan. 25 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Doug Hahn officiating. Burial was in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rusty Johnson, Paul Hughes, Reggie Robinson, Doug Brown, Joe Goodlett, and Lee Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Long, Johnny Carroll Spaulding, Randall Robinson, R.D. and Otis Knox and Rick Allen.
