Jasper was a farmer in Morgan County, Ohio, taking over his father's (Isaac) farm.

OBITUARY:
Mr. Jasper N. Wickersham, aged 84, died Wednesday afternoon at 8 o'clock at his home near Cross Roads church, Center Township. Death was due to general infirmities. Besides his wife he was survived by the following children: Charles of Pittsburgh, Pa; Herschel of Unionville; Mrs. Alice Murray of Meigsville township; Mrs. Annie Foster, Unionville, and Mrs. Minnie Walters of the home. He was the last of his family. His sister Michel Wickersham died Wednesday evening of last week. No funeral arrangements have been made. We hope later to give a more complete account of this highly regarded citizen.
