Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Alex and Dorothy Detricks Zavitsky.
Paul was auto body mechanic for Allan's Collision in North Wales and most recently worked for Rocco's Auto Body in South Philadelphia.
During the 1980's Paul was chief engineer for Plumstead Ambulance Squad 124.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two brothers: Joseph and Leo Zavitsky, his brother-in-law, Charles Weed and sister-in-law, Teresa Carey. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Alexander Zavitsky.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 5 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where friends may call from 9:30 until the time of Mass. Interment will be private.
