George was born July 20 in Sandusky County and died February 12 in Fremont.
His death certificate shows his father is Lewis Hawk; however, that would be impossible as Lewis died in January of 1865.
His mother is listed as Mary Binkley who was Lewis' wife at the time of his death. Perhaps she had George out of wedlock prior to her marriage to Amos Carnicom, don't know.
