He was born May 9, 1947, in Lubbock. He graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech. He moved to Fort Worth in 1974. He was the head of the Department of Tropical Plants and a deliveryman for Mabin's Wholesale Florist in Fort Worth until he started his window-washing business in 1987. He was a member of the Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Ray & Marie Milliken of Lubbock; a sister, Mary Ann Gallaway of Ontario, Canada.
