Loving wife and mother....Bette was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35. She had multiple reoccurences and was stage 4 and luckily survived until at the age of 64 she was diagnosed with clear cell uterine cancer. Bette underwent genetic testing in August of 2008 and tested positive for the breast and ovarian cancer gene or BRCA as it is referred to. If you are related to Bette you too have a chance of carrying the gene. Please contact a genetic counselor and discuss your options.
