Jacqueline Pierce Castelloe, 83, of 106 Mark Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 in Vidant Chowan Hospital. Jackie was born in Newport News, Va., and was the daughter of the late Simeon and Virginia Lee Pierce. A retired assistant manager from Belk's of Edenton after 28 years of employment, she was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and the Advance Extension Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Castelloe. Surviving are her daughter, Ann C. Calloway and husband, Cab, of Newport News, Va.; three sons, Tommy Castelloe and wife, Kay, of Edenton, Jerry Castelloe and wife, Sue, of Charlotte, and Ken Castelloe and wife, Christine, of Raleigh; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Cutler and husband, Patrick, Casey Riedmiller and husband, Brandon, Andrew Castelloe and wife, Brooke, Michael, Suzanne, and Kelley Castelloe, Chuck Calloway and wife, Ginny, and Tracie Ford and husband, Greg; and five great-grandchildren, Justin and Julia Ford, Jake Calloway, and J.T. and Christian Cutler. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church by the Rev. Bob Young. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and all other times at the home of Tommy and Kay Castelloe, 2420 Virginia Road. Flowers are welcomed or contributions in her memory may be made to the building fund of Macedonia Baptist Church, 1004 Macedonia Road, Edenton, NC 27932.
