Marrie Marie Newhall,89, of the Lakeview and SixLakes area, passed away Tuesday,March 08,2005,at her son's home in St.Johns. She was born Nov.13,1915,in Corning,Ark.,the daughter of Otto and Zera McCollom Moore. On May 2,1936, she married LeRoy "Red" Newhall. Maggie was employed at Spectrum Health United Memorial Kelsey Campus,Lakeview,retiring after more than 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy "Red" Newhall; four brothers, Clyde, Jewell,Bill and Carl Moore; and sister,Mamie Welch. She is survived by two sons,Benjamin and Charlene Newhall of Sheridan,Robert Newhall and Cindy of St.Johns;three daughters,Carol and Lawrence Lobert of SixLakes,Barbara and Michael Doerr,Betty and Gale Garner,all of St.Johns;26 grandchildren;44 great-grandchildren;brother Almy and Lorna Moore of Evart;and sister,Dorothy and Joe Arlt of Lakeland,Fla..Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St.Frances de Sales Catholic Church, Lakeview, with Father Troy Nevins as celebrant.Interment is in Stanwood Cemetery.The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Youngman-McCullough Chapel,Lakeview.
