Obituary as follows:

Thomas W. "Bud" Eva died Tuesday morning in St. James Healthcare.
He was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Butte, to Albert and Mamie (Ward) Eva. He attended the Garfield School and graduated from Butte Central in 1936. Bud played semi-professional hockey with the Butte Copper Kings as a forward and guard. His love of fishing and sports infected everyone he touched and his patience and tutoring encouraged many to excel.

Bud served his country in the Navy. He owned and operated Eva Plumbing for most of 40 years and was a master plumber. He was a life member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union 41 and belonged to the South Butte Kiwanis Club.

Bud married Jewel A. Stork in St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Nov. 28, 1946, and for the past 58 years they thrived together. They enjoyed traveling and spending time at Georgetown Lake.

Bud was preceded in death by his son and his daughter-in-law Bob and Carol Eva.

Survivors include his wife, Jewel of Butte; daughter and son-in-law, Loralee and Gene Davenport of Butte, Loralee and Gene's children, Julie Catherine and Richard and Bob's children, Robert, Jamie, Jodi and Bonnie. Also surviving is his cousin, Claudia Clague of Butte.

Bud left a legacy of kind memories and sincere leadership for his children, grandchildren and friends to follow that were wrapped with wonderful examples of honesty and dedication.

Cremation has taken place in Butte. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Haffey officiating. Entombment of ashes will be in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paul Clark Home-McDonald's Family Place or the Butte Catholic Education Fund.
