Thomas Arthur O'Guinn was born March 26, 1896 in Makanda to Thomas J. and Louisa Ann Grammer O'Guinn. He leaves two sisters, Minnie Crawshaw and Ruby Frye, both of Carbondale. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

He married Millie Fleming on December 25, 1920 in Murphysboro. Survivors include his wife and children, Geraldine Fager, Albertine Coleman, Joyce Marie Reiman, Norman, and Jack, all of Muprhysboro; and Doris Fox and Bill, both of Hillsboro.

Mr. O'Guinn was a retired Brown Shoe Co. worker and a carpenter. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Mt. Carbon Christian Church and the American Legion Post No. 127, both in Murphysboro.

Mr. O'Guinn died at the age of 77 in Veterans Administration Hospital, Marion.
