Mr. Drury was a salesman and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Paul Stout Post 127 of the American Legion, and the Eagles Aerie 670, all in Murphysboro. He was also a member of the VFW post in Herrin.
Mr. Drury died at the age of 68 in the Marion Veterans Hospital after a long illness.
