Her husband, John, preceded her in death in 1956. She is survived by children, Paul of Murphysboro, Bert, Monroe, Mrs. Naomi Anderson and Mrs. Kathryn Moran, all of Carbondale.
Mrs. Deming was a member of the Boskydell Baptist Church. She died at the age of 78 at the Carbondale home of her daughter.
