He was born at Nappanee, IN to Dwight and Ella (Johnson) Duker, both deceased. He married Sarah Irene Poor at Celina, OH on August 24, 1935. She died Feb. 7, 1992. C.O. was a member of the Wabash Presbyterian Church and the Wabash Lions Club. He was a retired school teacher who had taught for eight years at Concord Township Schools in Elkhart County, eight years at Concord Township Schools in DeKalb County, and 24 years at the Metropolitan School District in Wabash County. He had lived in Wabash since 1952, coming from DeKalb County, IN, before moving to Peabody Retirement Community.
Survivors include two sons - Douglas D. of Akron, OH and Denis C. of Chanhassen, MN; a daughter, Dorinda D. Lee of Nashville, TN; a sister, Clara Eaton of Goshen, IN; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
