Robert Glenn Hull Sr., 87, of Charleston passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2005, after a short illness. Born Aug. 25, 1917, at Flay in Lincoln County, N.C. He was the eldest son of the late Willie A. and Margaret "Madge" Bess Hull of Vale, N.C. "RG" attended Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone, N.C. and was a former supervisor for the Union Carbide Corporation, working the entire time at the South Charleston plant and retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. He was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman, cherishing his frequent fishing trips to Canada and his annual deer hunting trips with his family to the mountains of West Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathleen Cecilia Bossie Hull; three sons, Robert G. Hull Jr. and wife, Elma, of Charleston, Thomas W. Hull and wife, Marjean, of Melbourne, Fla., and David L.
