Harry Crook age 52 died May 21st, 1948 at the Veteran's Hospital at Wood after a brief illness. He was born February 22nd, 1896 in Green Lake to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Crook and lived there until 12 years ago when he removed to Campbellsport where he conducted a garage business. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Delores Kohler Crook whom he married on May 16th, 1922 and two daughters: Mrs. Bruno Valle of Brownsville, and Mrs. Robert Steady of Baraboo, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother and five sisters: Fred Crook of Green Lake, Mrs. Earl Walker of Green Lake, Mrs. James Clark, Mrs. Fred Penn and Mrs. Albert Leonhardt of this city, and Mrs. Ed Flynn of Campbellsport. Interment in the Cemetery of St. Matthew's Church of that place officiated by Reverand A.C. Biwer.

Re-interred by his widow to Woodlawn Cemetery on September 26th, 1949.
