A visitor In Syracuse during the past three months, Miss Charlotte Suydam Keese, 92, member of a pioneer New York family and a resident of the metropolis until recently,
died Wednesday at the home of her nephew. Dr. John Mumford Keese, 160 Beverly Rd.

She was the last member of her family of her own generation. She was born in New York, May 16, 1846* the daughter of John Mumford and Cornelia Hoffman Keese and a
great-granddaughter of John Keese, who served as quartermaster general on the staff of George Washington.
She is survived by three nieces and three nephews, Mrs. Knud Lang of Copenhagen, Denmark: Miss Charlotte Keese Drury of New York, Mrs, Katherine Keese Martin
of Altadena, Calif.; Francis K. W. Drury of Nashville, Tenn.; Anthony H. Keese of Pasadena, Calif., and Dr. Keese of Syracuse

Funeral services will be conducted in the Fairchild & Meech funeral chapel, 600 W. Onondaga St at 8 p. m., Thursday, Rev. John Steele, officiating. Commital services
will be Friday in the family's historic plot in Rhinebeck, NY
