"MEXICO — Lelia Bardeen Alden, 77, of Oswego RD, died Sunday in Spencer Nursing Home in New Haven. She was born in Italy Valley on Jun 1, 1892, the daughter of Alfred and Lenora Bardeen. She was a licensed practical nurse for many years and a member of the Practical Nurses Association of Syracuse as well as a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Elmer L. Alden of Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Carita) Manwarring and Mrs. Leon (Myrtle) Hurlbut both of Mexico, and Mrs. Cortland (Murial) Lilly of Oswego RD 2; two brothers, Alfred Bardeen of Hilton and William Bardeen of Dundee; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sutuder of Rochester, Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Klehle, Mrs Harry (Lena) Armstrong. Services Wednesday at the Gibbs Funeral Home, Rev. Leonard Piepoli officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in the spring."
