They were married In Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, January 11, 1856, and had the following children: Lydia J., who died in childhood; Fannie, now Mrs. Owen Borger, of Bowling Green, Ohio; Ella, wife of Lewis Abbott, of Milton Center, Ohio; Albert, of Henry county, Ohio; Andrew, who died in infancy; George, a farmer of Portage township; Charles, who died while young; Emma, now Mrs. Charles Sayer, of Portage village; and Cora, Jessie and Nellia, all at home. Betsy was the daughter of Albert and Lydia Waring from New York with siblings: George and Elizabeth. Betsy died from Bright's Disease at the age of 53 years and 7 months.
