Leslie is survived by his wife, Helen; sons Leslie K. and Linda Donaldson, DeKalb Junction, Lee and Catherine Donaldson, Canton, and Larry D. and Diane Donaldson, Canton; a daughter, Leola and Kenneth Fredette, Canton; 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Jesse, Bernard, and Elmer Donaldson; and sisters, Edna Eggleston, Florence Hilts, and Fannie Smith.
He was born on July 15, 1927, in Gouverneur, the son of Jesse and Fannie Buck Donaldson. Leslie married Helen Blair on December 14, 1944. Leslie owned and operated his dairy farm in the Town of DeKalb for over 50 years. He loved to do woodworking, hunt, and going to field days. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
