Judy E. Abell, 79, of Fort Smith, died February 24, 2013 in Fort Smith.
She was born December 29, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to William and Olga Reichenstein.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church where she served as the Church Librarian; she was a member of PEO and was an avid golfer and bridge player.

She is survived by her husband Scott Abell; two sons, Steve and wife Jane Abell of Little Rock and Jim Abell of Fort Smith; one sister, Gail Grant of San Antonio, TX; and one grandson Stephen Abell of Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by one son, Scott "Chip" Abell, III.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Fianna Hills Baptist Church and there will be a private family committal in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dick Litzinger, Hugh Mackay, Jack Freeze, Sam Bateman, Dick Udouj, and David Wetzel.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sue Litzinger, Priscilla Mackay, Janie Freeze, Fran Bateman, Mary Udouj, and Linda Wetzel.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM
