Tony Del Monaco was full of life, a very large personality. He was a fantastic cook and a true Italian. He was baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection. He was a member of the 10th District Guard of Honor. A member of the American Legion Post No. 161, 40 et 8. A member of Past Commanders Club, Eagles of Alton, Illinois and Moose of Woodriver, Illinois. He was the son of Tommaso and Anna Cheswick Monaco, widower of his first wife, Lilley Luella Scott Del Monaco, husband of Margaret Naomi Metzger Del Monaco, and father of Linda Del Monaco Grabanski. Father in law to Mark Grabanski, grandfather to Amie, Mark and Joy. Brother to Irene, Betty, Mary, Viola, Tommaso and Eugene.
