John T. Brinson started his railroading career with the Millen & Southwestern Railroad June 1904 and retired from the Georgia & Florida RR in 1949. He has served for several years on the local city council. John Brinson and Mrs. Brinson (the former Fannie King, married Jan 10, 1904) live on the Ogeechee river, Midville, GA. They have five sons (3 of which are also railroaders) and four daughters.
Mr. Brinson was recently presented his 40-year Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Honor Badge from his son Tom A. Brinson....Mar 1955 issue of "The Locomotive Engineers Journal" pg 196.
