Mary Babb Rossiter, 87, of 1 Martha Franks Drive, formerly of Newberry, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Joel M. and Mamie Stone Babb. Retired: Registered nurse. Member: Newberry First Baptist Church.

Survivors: Brothers, Eugene Babb of Gray Court, and Marvin Babb of St. Louis, Mo.; a grandson; and a great-grandson. Predeceased: A daughter, Jean Rossiter Beck.

Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kennedy Mortuary Chapel. Burial: Gray Court Cemetery.

Family: Respective homes.
