NAMPA — Graveside services for LaVerne Raymond Larsen, 63, of 5280 Star Road, Nampa, who died of natural causes Wednesday in Meridian, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens by the Rev. George Beard of Trinity Lutheran Church, Nampa. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
He was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Lodgepole, Neb., to Arthur and Susie Larsen. He was reared and educated in Nebraska. He married Elaine Bartels on Dec. 22, 1940, in Lodge Pole. They moved to Nampa in 1942. He worked for Amalgamated Sugar Co. and farmed. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Elks Lodge No. 1369, Nampa.
Survivors include his wife and mother, Susie Larsen, both of Nampa; two sons, Doug of Cascade and Ron of Meridian; two daughters, Diane Larsen of Lewiston and Vickie Davis of Scottsville, Ore.; a sister, Marge Peden of Nampa; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father in 1960.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Nampa.
Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, today from 1 to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m.
