He was the owner of Babian Insurance Agency in Birmingham for 50 years. Formerly he worked for Maccabees Mutual Life and also taught Life Insurance Sales courses at Wayne State University. Arthur and his wife Thelma owned Greenbriar Golf Club and RV Park in Brooklyn, MI, since 1966.
He loved animals and playing golf and was a fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
Arthur was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Southfield and a major fan of Wheaton College in Illinois and William Jewell College. He was also a fundraiser for Christian organizations.
