C.V. Brewer, 74, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with full military honors at a later date. C.V. was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Venus to Clarence V. and Mae Brewer. He retired from the Air Force at the rank of master sergeant. He was a graduate of Arlington High School class of 1957. After his career in the Air Force, he was employed with General Dynamics and retired from Lockheed Martin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Survivors: Daughters, Deanna McCormick and husband, David, and Jeri Martin and husband, John; sons, Tom Brewer and wife, Shannon, and Bill Brewer and wife, Leslie; sister, Terry Wilson and husband, Jesse; and eight grandchildren.
