Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Charlene Parrish Leeman, age 94, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, with Rev. Dan Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Leeman died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born on October 15, 1918 in Martin, TN to the late William Parrish and Jervis M. Penn Parrish. She worked in the Cancer Registry Department at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was married to the late Vernon H. Leeman.
Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Haze Parrish and sisters, Virginia Louise Parrish and Mary Lee Christopher.
Surviving are a son, Lynn Hall Leeman of Jackson; a grandson, Michael Scott Leeman and wife Pam of Fayetteville, NC and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the Leeman family from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
