Former Resident Dies
Mrs. Evan Sallee and Ross Geren received word of the death of their brother, Otto Geren, Thursday, at a hospital in Topeka, Kan. Funeral services were held Saturday at Axtel, Kans., and burial was in the Axtel Cemetery. He was the son of William and Mary Botts Geren, of Meadville, and resided on a farm north of Meadville before moving to Axtel, Kan. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Triplett Geren of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Cliff Compton and Mrs. Ben Black, Washington, D.C,; one sister, Mrs. Evan Sallee, and one brother, Ross Geren, of Meadville. His parents and one brother, Fred Geren, preceded him in death.
