Mrs. Alexander was a native of Elizabeth, La. She was a civil service employee for the U.S. Post Office.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Clunie of Carriere; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6:30 to 9:30 tonight at the Picayune Funeral Home. A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roseland Park Baptist Church in Picayune where friends may call one hour before services. Burial in Carriere Cemetery in Carriere.
