Mrs. Charlotte Bullions Blandy, wife
of Isaac C. Blandy, one of the most
prominent residents of Greenwich, died
suddenly at her home in that village
about noon yesterday of heart trouble.
Mrs. Blandy was a descendant of promi-
nent Trojan families and was born in
Troy, the youngest daughter of the late
Rev. Dr. Alexander Bullions and Lucy
J Eddy Bullions, a daughter of Titus
Eddy. Mrs. Blandy was a grand-daughter
of Rev. Dr. Peter Bullions, for many
years pastor of the United Presbyterian
Church of Troy, and author of the
well-known Bullions's Grammar. She
was educated at the Emma Willard
School, and was married at the old family
homestead, "Glenwood," at the head
of Glen Avenue, about twenty-five years
ago to Mr. Blandy, who was graduated
from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
in 1887. They have since resided in
Greenwich, where Mr. Blandy has large
commercial interests. Mra. Blandy had
taken an active part in social life and
religious and charitable work. She was
a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church
of Freenwich. Mrs. Blandy is survived
by her husband and three sons, Graham
Blandy, who recently enlisted in the Albany
base hospital unit; Alexander
Blandy of the Second Regiment Headquarters
Company and Dallam Blandy,
all of Greenwich, and a sister, Mrs. John
T. Gushing of New Haven, Conn. The
funeral will be held from the residence
at Greenwich tomorrow morning at 11
o'clock, Rev. E. D. Tibbits of the
Hoosac School and Rev. E. A. Hall of
Fort Edward officiating. The interment
will be at Greenwich.
