W. Wilkerson Dies After Brief Illness
Wayne Wilkerson, age 75, of Hodge, died Tuesday morning, October 18 at his home after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20 in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Burial was in the Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Quitman under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elsie Mae Wilkerson of Hodge; two brothers, Harvey Wilkerson of Brawley, California and Hubert Wilkerson of Ada, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews also survive.
