Mrs. Bacon was born Jan. 16, 1930 in Polk County and died March 27, 2007 in the Corrigan LTC Nursing Facility.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Hollis Bacon; daughters, Shirley Shumate, Mary Oleinik, Helen Box, Alice Haden, Edith McCrady; sisters, Edith Earline Reed Goad, Ruby Mae Phillips Flowers; brothers, Billy Roy Phillips, Clyde Wayne Phillips; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Corrigan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
