Died suddenly Nov. 17, 1985 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1902 in Whitley County, KY, the daughter of Sam and Nancy (Lawson) Reynolds. She married James Allen Sanders and he preceded her in death. She came to Ypsilanti in 1942 from Bernie, MO. She was employed at Beyer Memorial Hospital retiring in 1966. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rex (Grace) Dabbs of Linden, TN., Mrs. Patrick (Glenda) Haner of Tucson, AR [sic] and Mrs. Wilbur (Lois) Herndon of Ypsilanti; two sons, Lenis Sanders and Evans Sanders, both of Flint, MI; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one brother, Essom Reynolds of Wappapello, MO. She was preceded in death by three sons, James Sanders, Arthur Webb and Elvis Sanders; one grandson, Gary Sanders and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dana Ramsey of the Ypsilanti Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:30 p.m. Monday.
