Geraldine (Jerry) was born in Indiana, the fourth of five children born to Ephraim P. and Luciel H. (Carver) Funk. Grandparents are Edward and Clara J. (Beeching) Funk and Edward S. and Nellie G. (Hosack) Carver.
Geraldine spent most of her adult life in Michigan. Jerry was a retired employee of the Waterford School System having served 17 years.
Geraldine had six children:
Sandy A. Merrill (Hall)
Randy M. Merrill
Susie K. Merrill (Anderson)
Steven P. Merrill
Debra L. Merrill (Qucsai)
Rebecca D. Carlson (Rettig).
She had 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Jerry left all those who knew her with many happy memories, but also took with her a piece of all their hearts. She will always be loved and missed.
