Daughter of James Henry Staton and Emma Eliza Savage. Her first husband was James Burton House. They were married January 26, 1887 in Halifax County, NC. After his death, she married Lawrence Elbert Whitehead on April 16, 1890 in Halifax County, NC. She was buried on March 4, 1927 in Kehukee Cemetery. W. C. Allsbrook was the informant.

NOTE: She was my great-grandmother, and these are my family's photos of her. Her death certificate incorrectly lists her parents as Austin Savage and Fannie Staton.
