Charles Edmund Finley, 60, Had Lived In Wapello County Entire Life.
Charles Edmund Finley, 60, veteran Dain Manufacturing Co. employee, died at the Ottumwa hospital today at noon. His home was at 807 Richmond Ave. Finley who was born in Wapello County, September 26, 1878, the son of Samuel and Nancy Finley had lived here all his life. He was a member of The Willard Street Methodist Episcopal Church. He had worked at the Dain Co. since April, 1922. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; two daughters, Thelma and Marjorie at home; two sons, Eldo of Vallejo, California and Glenn at home; and two brothers, Tom of Newton and Earl of Ottumwa. The body is at Johnson's funeral Chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Services for Charles Edmund Finley, 60, who died at the Ottumwa hospital Friday, will be at The Willard Street Methodist Episcopal Church Sunday at 3 PM, conducted by the Rev. W. J. Fowler. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The body will remain at Johnson's funeral Chapel until Sunday noon. It will then be taken to the church. The casket will not be opened after services.
