Grangeville - Arthur C. Case,67, a Grangeville rancher and cattleman, died early Monday morning at Syringa General Hospital of cancer.
Case ranched three miles east of Grangeville all his adult life. He was a member of the Grangeville First Christian Church.
He was born November 16, 1912, at Gladas, Montana, to Harriet and Chancey Case. He moved to Grangeville as a young child with his parents and went to school in the Grangeville area.
Case married Dorothy Day on December 23, 1935, at Grangeville. She survives at the family ranch.
Also surviving are his son, Larry of Grangeville; a daughter, Connie Porter of Stevensville, Montana; his mother of Grangeville; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Noland Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Martin, pastor of the Grangeville First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery.
