David E. Branch Services Today

Funeral services were held today for David Edward Branch, 69, a native Arizonan who died Saturday. Branch, who lived at 700 W. 1st Street, died at Parkview Baptist Hospital.

Branch's grandparents settled in Southern Arizona following the Civil War. He was born on the Herrick Ranch near Baribank, Ariz.

Branch was a superintendent for the Arizona Edison Co., Arizona Public Service Co. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the B. H. Donkersley American Legion Post 19 and had lived in Yuma for 20 years. He was also a member of the King Solomon Masonic lodge at Tombstone and had served on the Yuma County Republican Central Committee.

Survivors include his wife, Emma, of the home; two sons, James H. Branch, of Norwalk, Calif., and David Edward Branch, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, James R. Branch, Friday Harbor, Wash., and Archie Branch, Los Angeles; and a sister, Miss Olive Branch, Clairmont, Calif.

Funeral services today were held at the Johnson Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Robert A. Stanley, First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
