Virginia Aaron Eanes of Blue Ridge Rehab Center and formerly of Martinsville, VA died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. She was born on June 27, 1917 in Callands, VA to the late Matthew L. Aaron and Grace Woodall Aaron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stafford R. Eanes; one sister, Louise A. Gregory and three brothers, William "Bill" Aaron, Matthew "Fate" Aaron and Kenneth W. Aaron.

Mrs. Eanes was a member of Kearfott Memorial Baptist Church, Martinsville, VA.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda E. Newman and Leon Newman of Martinsville, VA; four sisters, Grace Leone A. Plybon of Martinsville, VA, Gloria Sizemore of Axton, VA, Martha A. Wright of Martinsville, VA and Barbara A. Kendrick of Norfolk, VA; one brother, Lindy Aaron of Chatham, VA; two grandchildren, Christopher D. Reynolds and wife, Annette B. Reynolds and Caroleigh A. Newman and one great-granddaughter, McKenzie Reynolds.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at County Line Christian Church, Axton, VA with Minister Dean Ashby and Pastor Eric Kieselbach officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the church and other times at the home of her daughter, Linda E. Newman, 8990 Chatham Road, Martinsville, VA.
