Marriage - Patchogue, L.I., December 31- Miss Bessie Albin was married to Ulysses Albin, both of Patchogue, by the Rev. James W. Diggles, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, on Thursday, December 24, at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Carrie Young was the bridesmaid and Mr. Foster Albin, best man. The young couple are now housekeeping in Patchogue.
Obituary - Mrs. Bessie Bell Albin, 77 of Montauk Highway, Bayport, died last Friday at her home. Born in Patchogue, Mrs. Albin had lived in Bayport for about seven years. She had been a Red Cross nurse in World War II. She is survived by five sons, Arthur Albin of Bellport, Harold Albin of Patchogue, Kenneth Albin of Bayport, Earl Albin of Middle Island, and Cortland Albin of Mt. Beacon; one daughter, Winifred McCormick of Sayville, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Sunday at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue. The Rev. Robert Rapalje of the Church of the Nazarene, Patchogue, officiated and arrangements were made by the Reylek Funeral Home.
